I've read about a BRAND NEW CARPET Track down in your neck of the woods called TQ RC RACING in Chino.

http://tqrcracing.com/

13871 Oaks Ave, Chino CA 91710

This is being listed as 45 x 90 ft. and they say OVAL is a possibility.

Hi racers,

This is Sean at TQ RC RACING.

Steven just left after checking out my track and he did some test laps.

I did just quick change for testing, the lanes were still narrow.

I'd like to have oval racers here.

Give me some idea, such as practice day, race day, how often... something like that.

Thanks Art and Steven for visiting my track and here is a Steven's testing video.

http://www.tqrcracing.com/forum/view.asp?doc_no=16&bbs_no=5
or
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EONwssjF_ZQ

And we have a Grand Opening Race on April 3rd.

I did a few test laps after we moved a couple of boards. I went out there with no sauce and found the traction to be a little low but with a little time and sauce the traction will come up. One other thing this track is the smoothest track I have driven, he spent many hours getting the sub-floor right.

I talked to the owner and he said he would do an oval only practice or race as long as we can give him about a 7-10 day notice. I know theres a lot racing going on but lets try figure out a day we can all meet up at the track. Should be fun. March 28th is good for me unless Joe is having a practice session at the 'drome. Anyone else?

Steve,

I'll be there, assuming we get enough to make it worth Sean's time. I've got both the CRC BattleAxe and the 1/12th Mini-Mav set up for carpet. I would love to help get a carpet oval program going in SoCal. I would also love some tuning time on the carpet.

Sean,

Thanks for allowing the oval guys to set up for a practice day. I'm going to try to make it down myself, but I have to say Sunday afternoons are a tough one for me....but I'm gonna try. I intended to get down there yesterday after the RCX show, but I was sick most of the night after carpet racing in taft, and didn't make it down for either.

Joe,

Thanks for your support, I appreciate it.

Yesterday, SWT oval racers visited and discussed about the oval racing at my track.

I love to have a oval racing series and I'm sure it will work.

I hope to see you at my track.

Thanks.

FYI
I was informed we will need to use either Jack the Gripper or Sweep tire sauce for the practice session.
